Sarah Gilman, MPH, CHES:

Owner & Principal Consultant

 Sarah Gilman has spent over 15 years focused on public health programs and health education. She specializes in program development, program management, grant writing, health communications (including content marketing), health writing (in English & Spanish), and research support. She serves as Principal Consultant for Wayfinder Health Strategies and oversees Wayfinder's business portfolio. Ms. Gilman is also a Doctoral student in George Washington University’s Translational Health Sciences program.

Prior to founding Wayfinder Health Strategies, Sarah worked with the Lupus Foundation of America, Innovations for Poverty Action, Dekalb County Department of Public Health, Emory University and Chemonics International. Throughout, she directed and managed various projects and programs for government agencies and foundations like the United States Agency for International Development, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Sarah has a Master of Public Health from Emory University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She is a Native English and Spanish speaker, with extensive cross cultural experience from living and working in Latin America, Africa and Europe. Sarah is also trained in emergency response and is an active member of Virginia’s Medical Reserve Corps.
