Sarah Gilman has spent the past 15 years focused on the public health sector and specializes in grant writing and grant management, health writing (in English & Spanish), and research support. She serves as Principal Consultant for Wayfinder Health Strategies and oversees Wayfinder's business portfolio.
Prior to founding Wayfinder Health Strategies, Gilman worked with the Lupus Foundation of America, Innovations for Poverty Action, Dekalb County Department of Public Health, Emory University and Chemonics International. Throughout, she directed and managed various projects and programs for government agencies and foundations like the United States Agency for International Development, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Gilman has also written over one million dollars in awarded grants from the Centers for Control and Prevention the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Gilman has a Master of Public Health from Emory University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She is a Native English and Spanish speaker, with extensive cross cultural experience from living and working in Latin America, Africa and Europe.
